Trim the fat of your pork shoulder
Mix all the rub ingredients together and coat all sides of the pork. In a pan with hot oil, sear each side of the meat for 4-5 minutes
Meanwhile, mix all the sauce ingredients together for sauce #1 in a bowl
Add the seared pork to a slow cooker, pour over the sauce, cook low and slow for 8-10 hours
Remove the meat, shred it. Pour any remaining sauce in a pan and add the other ingredients for sauce #2. Simmer for 5-10 minutes then pour over the shredded pork
Top with sesame seeds and serve with the side of your choice. Enjoy!
