Boil your pasta in salted water until al dente. Cook your protein (chicken or shrimp) separately and tent with foil to keep warm. In a pan, melt the butter and cook the garlic until fragrant. Add the lemon juice and white wine to the pan. Simmer the sauce for 1-2 minutes. Add the cooked pasta to the pan with the sauce. Remove from heat. Toss in the chopped basil and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
