Creamy Sausage and Marsala Pasta

Marsala wine can be harder to find, but if you see it, grab it and make this pasta. It adds a perfect level nutty/toffee flavor to the dish and I love it!

Boil the pasta in salted water until Al dente. In the meantime, brown the sausage and remove. Add the oil or butter to a pan. Once hot add the onion and mushrooms, season with S&P and cook until golden. Then add the garlic cooking for a minute. In goes the Marsala, and broth. Simmer for 3-4 minutes. Add the cream and sausage, simmer for 2 mins. Add the parm and stir until melted. Toss in the pasta. Plate with basil and more parm!
