In a bowl combine the dry ingredients, in another, combine the egg and milk. Then mix them together and let rest for 15 minutes to thicken. Insert the wooden skewers into the hot dogs and heat the oil to around 350 degrees. Dunk the dogs in the batter and fry for 2-3 minutes until cooked and golden brown.
