Cook the noodles. Heat the oil and add the green onion, then remove heat and add the paste. In a bowl add the garlic, basil, red pepper flakes, ginger, and then the oil mixture. Toss the noodles in the oil and if you want the soy sauce. For the Chicken: Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, dried basil, and cook through.
