Lightly salt and then boil a large pot of water. Cook the snow crab for 5ish minutes and remove when bright orange. Remove crab meat, chop and set aside. Cook the fettuccine to al dente and reserve some pasta water. In a pan add the butter and minced garlic, cooking for 30 seconds. Whisk in the flour and then the half and half, lowering the heat. As it starts to thicken, add salt, pepper, lemon zest, red pepper flakes, and the parmesan. Mix and then toss in the pasta, crab and parsley.
