For the chicken: Combine chicken with balsamic vinegar, pesto, honey, 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Marinate for a few hours. Cook the marinated chicken until thoroughly cooked through (e.g., pan-fry, grill, or bake). For the pasta: Cook pasta according to package directions. While pasta cooks, heat the oil in a pan and cook the minced garlic until fragrant. Add the halved cherry tomatoes, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (to taste) and cook until blistered. Add in the chopped basil and cooked noodles, then toss to combine. Serve the pasta with the cooked balsamic pesto chicken.
