Creamy Sausage and Marsala Pasta

Marsala wine can be harder to find, but if you see it, grab it and make this pasta. It adds a perfect level nutty/toffee flavor to the dish and I love it!

What you need

pepper

tsp salt

onion

clove garlic clove

cup chicken stock
pt mushrooms

cup heavy cream
lb sausage

cup grated parmesan cheese

tsp red pepper flake

cup marsala wine

oz penne
tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
Boil the pasta in salted water until Al dente. In the meantime, brown the sausage and remove. Add the oil or butter to a pan. Once hot add the onion and mushrooms, season with S&P and cook until golden. Then add the garlic cooking for a minute. In goes the Marsala, and broth. Simmer for 3-4 minutes. Add the cream and sausage, simmer for 2 mins. Add the parm and stir until melted. Toss in the pasta. Plate with basil and more parm!View original recipe
