Beefy French Onion Noodle Soup!

I have been seeing a few different variations of French onion soup on my feed lately, and wanted to try something new! Luckily @betterhomeandgardens had a unique version that I had to try! It was incredible and I definitely think you should add it to the meal list this week!!

What you need

cup white wine
tsp ground pepper

pinch salt
cup mushrooms

slice french bread

oz gruyere

tbsp worcestershire sauce

fl oz beef broth

cup cooking oil

oz beef top sirloin steak

oz wide egg noodles

cup onion
Instructions
For the bread: Thinly slice some French bread. Apply a thin layer of butter, add some Gruyere cheese, and broil until golden! For the soup: In a Dutch oven, add 1T oil and the mushrooms. Cook until soft. Then add in 1T oil and the onions. Cook until browned, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 mins, then remove. Thinly slice the beef and season with salt and pepper. Return heat to medium high, add 2T oil and the beef. Cook until browned and remove! Add in the broth, wine, Worcestershire, pepper, and bring to a boil. Add in the onion mix, add in the noodles (cooking 'til Al dente), add in the beef and cook for 2 mins more… then serve! Enjoy!View original recipe
