When life is busy, busy, busy, sometimes all you need is a simple and delicious crock pot meal. This recipe for fall-off-the-bone ribs promises a simple and delicious crock pot meal that you may never cook any other way.
Remove the membrane on the back of the ribs. Drizzle a little bit of binder (oil works well) and coat all sides of the ribs with the rub. To make the rub, combine 1 tsp Paprika, 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar, 1 tsp Salt, ½ tsp Garlic powder, ½ tsp Pepper, and ½ tsp Onion powder. Add the coated ribs to a crock pot with a little water on the bottom (and a rack if you have one). Layer in the ribs, cover, and cook on low for 3-4 hours. Baste on a little BBQ sauce. Once they are tender (cook for another 3 ish hours), remove and add to the broiler to finish. We served with baked potatoes and corn!
