potato

carrot

tsp dried thyme

tsp dried rosemary

tbsp worcestershire sauce

onion

cup beef broth

lb chuck roast
tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
Season all sides of the roast with salt, pepper, and garlic (don’t be shy!). Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan on medium-high heat and sear the beef until browned on all sides. Remove the beef from the pan. Lower the heat to medium and cook the onion until softened. Remove the onion. Add the beef broth, dried thyme, dried rosemary, and Worcestershire sauce to the pan. As it simmers, scrape any bits off the bottom of the pan to deglaze. Add the seared roast, cooked onion, deglazed liquid, potatoes, and carrots to your slow cooker and cook for 8-9 hours.View original recipe
