Chicken Marsala

What you need

cup heavy cream

lb chicken

cup marsala wine

clove garlic clove

tbsp unsalted butter

tbsp cooking oil

cup chicken broth
oz mushrooms

tsp salt & pepper

tbsp flour

tsp thyme
Instructions
Pound the chicken till 1/2” thick. In a ziploc add the flour, salt and pepper. Add in the chicken and coat on all sides. In a cast iron pan, add 1T Butter and the oil and cook the chicken till golden on both sides and cooked through. Remove and tent with foil. In the same pan add the remaining butter, cook the mushrooms then add the shallot and garlic. In goes the cream, broth, and Marsala. Salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a simmer, add the thyme. Simmer for 5 minutes then remove from heat. Add in the chicken and serve over pasta or mashed potatoes!View original recipe
