Chicken Pot Pie Casserole

Sometime we crave the flavors of chicken pot pie, but feel too lazy to make pie crust and build everything. Why not just take the filling and turn it into a casserole (especially since we love tater tots)!

What you need

cup shredded mozzarella

cup vegetable mix
ground black pepper

salt

tsp paprika

tsp onion powder

tsp garlic powder

tsp dried thyme

cup chicken broth

cup half & half

tbsp all purpose flour

tbsp unsalted butter
boneless chicken breast
Instructions
Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder and cook. Let cool, then chop. In a pan, melt the butter and mix in the flour. Once golden slowly stir in the half and half and then the chicken broth. Add all the seasonings. Then mix in the veggies. Once warmed, add the chicken and cheese and incorporate. Add to a greased baking dish and bake for 25 minutes at 425 degrees. Enjoy!View original recipe
