Creamy Balsamic Chicken

This one is good enough for a date night in or easy enough for a weeknight meal with the family. We served with mashed potatoes and the oven roasted cauliflower (recipe a few posts back). Feel free to pair with anything you like!

What you need

tbsp vegetable oil

salt

ground black pepper

garlic powder

tbsp salted butter

yellow onion

garlic

tbsp italian seasoning

tbsp sugar

tbsp balsamic vinegar

cup chicken broth

cup whipped cream
Instructions
Pound the chicken to 1” thick and season both sides with salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste. Flip after 5 minutes and then remove once fully cooked through. Add the butter and onion and cook for 5 minutes or until soft. Add the garlic, Italian seasoning, sugar and balsamic vinegar and cook for 3 minutes. Next add the chicken broth, bring to a simmer. Add in the cream, simmer again and then turn down the heat to low. Bring the chicken back in the pan, spoon over the gravy to reheat and then serve with your favorite sides!View original recipe
