Creamy Mushroom & Spinach Pasta!

This one is a perfect recipe for a date night in (unless your kids eat mushrooms and spinach). We paired with my Tuscan Chicken Recipe or you can pan fry some shrimp!

What you need
tbsp vegetable oil

tbsp salted butter

red onion

oz portabella mushrooms

garlic

oz frozen spinach

cup chicken broth

cup whipped cream

iodized salt

ground black pepper

tsp italian seasoning

cup grated parmesan cheese

tsp crushed red pepper

skinless boneless chicken breast
Instructions
Cook the pasta until Al dente. In a pan add 1T Butter, 2T oil. Add the mushrooms and onions, season with salt and pepper and cook until soft, remove. Add the spinach and cook until wilted, remove. Add 1T oil and the minced garlic. After 30 seconds pour in the broth, cream, add the Italian seasoning, S&P, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer for 3 minutes then remove the heat. Add the Parmesan and still until melted. Add the mushrooms, onion and spinach back in. Toss with the noodles. Serve alone or with chicken/shrimpView original recipe
