What you need

tbsp brown sugar

tsp garlic powder

tsp pepper

tsp table salt

lb pork shoulder

tsp paprika
Instructions
Mix together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and brown sugar. Coat all sides of the 3lb pork shoulder with the entire spice mix. Add the coated pork shoulder to a slow cooker. Cook for 8-10 hours. For a better sear, cook the first hour on high. If the pork shoulder isn't fatty enough, you can add 1/4 cup of chicken broth for more liquid.
