Homemade Corndogs

Who’s in for a Homemade Corndog??? Wife was gone for the night so decided to have some fun cooking with the kids. This was their request, and to be quite honest, I think I enjoyed them more than they did!!! Super easy, and obviously a hit for the whole family!

What you need

fl oz frying oil

cup plain flour

tsp onion powder
egg

tsp chili powder

cup milk

oz corn muffin mix

tsp ground cumin

tsp ground mustard

beef hot dogs
Instructions
In a bowl combine the dry ingredients, in another, combine the egg and milk. Then mix them together and let rest for 15 minutes to thicken. Insert the wooden skewers into the hot dogs and heat the oil to around 350 degrees. Dunk the dogs in the batter and fry for 2-3 minutes until cooked and golden brown.View original recipe
