Lemon Garlic Parmesan Pasta

What you need

onion

tsp oregano

chicken breast

tsp pepper
oz farfalle pasta

clove garlic clove

lemon zest
cup chicken broth

tsp chili powder

cup half & half cream

tbsp olive oil

tsp table salt

tbsp unsalted butter

cup parmesan cheese
Instructions
Season the halved chicken on both sides with the spices (salt, pepper, chili powder, oregano, thyme). Cook chicken in 2T olive oil and a little butter until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken from the pan and tent with foil. Add the remaining butter to the pan along with the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until fragrant. Then add the cooked pasta and chicken broth to the pan. Cover and simmer until 2 minutes before the pasta reaches al dente. Stir in the heavy cream/half n half, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Once the pasta is al dente, remove from heat and mix in the Parmesan cheese. Top with sliced chicken and more Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!View original recipe
