Lemon Teriyaki Chicken

Weekday winner and easy summer grilling recipe! This one pops with the sweet and sour combo from the honey and lemon. A definite must try! We served with cooked rice and edamame!

What you need
cup honey

tbsp olive oil

tbsp sesame oil

tsp onion powder

lemon

cup soy sauce

clove garlic clove

pinch red pepper flake

pinch pepper

chicken breast
pinch sesame seed

tbsp butter

bunch green onion
pinch salt
Instructions
For the chicken marinade: Mix chicken breast, 3 cloves of garlic, 1 juiced lemon, 1/2C soy sauce, 1T rice vinegar, and 1/4C olive oil. Marinate for at least 3 hours. Heat the grill and cook the chicken through until fully cooked. For the sauce: Heat 2T olive oil and cook the minced 3 cloves of garlic. Then add the zest and juice of 1 lemon, 1/4C soy sauce, 4T butter, 1t onion powder, 1T sesame oil, salt, pepper, 1/4C honey, and red pepper flakes. Heat for 3-5 minutes until combined and slightly thickened. Add the cooked chicken to the sauce and sprinkle on some sesame seeds and green onion. Enjoy!View original recipe
