What you need

refrigerated crescent rolls

lb chicken meat

tsp table salt

tbsp brown sugar

tsp garlic powder

tbsp cajun seasoning

tbsp paprika

cup frying oil

tbsp cayenne pepper

cup plain flour

fl oz hot sauce

cup buttermilk

cup corn starch
Instructions
1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces. 2. In a bowl, mix the chicken with the marinade (1.5C Buttermilk and 2oz Hot Sauce). 3. In a separate bowl, combine the dredge mixture (2C Flour, 1/4C Starch, and 3T Cajun Seasoning). 4. Dredge the marinated chicken pieces in the flour mixture, ensuring they are fully coated. 5. Fry the dredged chicken pieces in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through. 6. Thinly slice crescent rolls and wrap each fried chicken bite in a crescent roll piece. 7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12-14 minutes. 8. While the chicken is baking, prepare the hot oil mixture: combine 3/4C Fry Oil, 1T Cayenne, 1T Paprika, 1T Brown Sugar, 1t Garlic Powder, and 1t Salt. Heat gently. 9. Once baked, baste the hot chicken bites generously with the prepared hot oil mixture. 10. Top each bite with a pickle slice. Enjoy!View original recipe
