Oven Baked Mac and Cheese

What you need

cup shredded cheddar

tsp smoked paprika

cup panko

cup half & half

cup unsalted butter

cup all purpose flour

tbsp salt

tsp black peppercorn

elbow pasta

cup swiss cheese

cup parmesan cheese
Instructions
Boil the noodles 1-2 minutes less than you would for Al dente. Shred all of your cheese and mix it together. On medium heat, Melt the butter, add in the flour and whisk it continuously for 1 minute. Combine your whole milk and half and half, and then Slowly mix into the flour. Stir continuously until the sauce starts to thicken. Remove heat, add your spices and 3 cups of the cheese blend. Mix until melted. In a bowl, combine the noodles and cheese sauce. Add 1/2 to a greased baking dish, sprinkle on 1.5C of shredded cheese. Add the other half of the noodles and sprinkle on the rest of the cheese. If you are adding the Panko, sprinkle it on top. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Enjoy!!View original recipe
