What you need

tbsp unsalted butter

cup cheddar cheese

cup parmesan cheese

lb raw shrimp

tsp paprika

cup panko breadcrumbs

cup plain flour

cup heavy cream

lb elbow noodles

cup gruyere

cup milk

tbsp butter
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Boil the noodles until 1 minute before al dente. Shred and mix the cheeses together. Remove, strain and add the noodles to a bowl to cool. In the meantime, melt 5T of butter and add the flour, cooking for 1 minute. Slowly pour in the milk and cream. Add salt and pepper to taste and simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in 4C of the mixed cheese. Once smooth and thick, pour into the noodles and toss. Add 1/2 the mixture to a greased baking dish. Spread in 1C of the remaining cheese and top with more macaroni and then more cheese! Bake for roughly 25 minutes. As it nears the end, toss the shrimp ingredients (panko, 1/2lb raw shrimp, 2T melted butter, 1/4C Parmesan, 1/2t paprika) together. Melt some butter (presumably the 2T from the shrimp ingredients) and cook the shrimp for around 2-3 minutes. Add the cooked shrimp to the top of the Mac and Cheese and enjoy!View original recipe
