What you need

lb pork shoulder

tbsp brown sugar

tsp rosemary

tbsp soy sauce

tsp dried thyme

tsp table salt

tsp pepper

cup apple cider vinegar

clove garlic clove

cup water
Instructions
Trim any excess fat off the pork shoulder. In a bowl, mix together the first set of ingredients (Thyme, Rosemary, 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar, Salt, Pepper, Apple Cider Vinegar, Water) to create a rub and cover the meat thoroughly. Sear both sides of the pork shoulder in a hot pan. Place the seared pork in a slow cooker and cook for 8 hours on low. Once cooked, shred the pork. In a separate saucepan, combine the sauce ingredients (Balsamic Vinegar, Soy Sauce, Garlic Clove, 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar) and simmer for 3 minutes. Toss the shredded meat with the sauce.
