Slow Cooker Corned Beef

I don’t know about you, but I love corned beef year round! It’s one of the most underrated meals. Here is a recipe that is fool proof and absolutely delicious.

What you need

tsp salt
fl oz oil

tbsp garlic powder

carrot

cup water

head cabbage

tbsp apple cider vinegar

lb corned beef

baby potato

clove garlic clove

bay leaves

tbsp table sugar

spice mix
Instructions
Add the corned beef to the slow cooker (fat side up). Add the garlic, spice packet, sugar and pepper to the top of the beef and rub it in. Add the apple cider vinegar and the bay leaf to the side of the meat and fill with water until it’s 25% covered. Cook on low for 9 hours. With 3 hours left, add the potatoes and carrots. Once cooked, slice it up and enjoy! Optional: remove meat and broil for 1-2 mins until fat gets a little crispy! For the Cabbage: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Half or quarter the cabbage. Mix together oil and garlic powder and baste the cabbage. Season with salt and pepper and bake for 15 minutes per side!View original recipe
