Steaks with Garlic Chive Butter and Caramelized Onions

What you need

tsp red pepper flake

clove garlic clove

onion

tsp salt & pepper

oz butter

tbsp worcestershire sauce
mushrooms

tbsp fresh chives
Instructions
For the Butter: Mix 2 minced cloves of garlic, 1/2 tablespoon of chopped chives, and 1/2 stick of room temperature butter together. Wrap in wax paper and place in the fridge. For the Onions: Add 1 sliced onion, 6 sliced mushrooms, 1/2 stick of butter, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, and salt and pepper to taste to a pan. Cook on low heat and let them gradually caramelize over about an hour until deeply golden. For the Steak: Season the steak with salt and pepper. Heat a cast iron skillet on medium-high heat. Cook the steak on both sides until desired temperature is reached (about 4 minutes per side for medium-rare). Enjoy!View original recipe
