Wine Braised Short Ribs

The cold weather keeps popping back in, so here is a little comfort food to help! So tender, they fall right off the bone. If you want the sauce recipe, I scooped out the some of the liquid and reduced by half in a sauce pan! (Well worth it!) We served with roasted Brussels and mashed potatoes! Enjoy!

What you need

head garlic powder

cup beef broth

cup pinot noir
lb bone-in beef short ribs

tsp table salt

fresh rosemary

onion
tbsp vegetable oil
head fresh garlic
Instructions
Season the meat and sear in the Dutch oven on all sides, then remove. Slice the onion and sauté. Split the head of garlic and sear. Pour in the wine, scrape the bottom bits to deglaze. Add the rest of the ingredients and cook low and slow for 3-4 hours. For an optional sauce, scoop out some of the liquid and reduce by half in a sauce pan.View original recipe
