Baked Ziti!!

Preheat the oven to 375. Bring water to a boil and add salt. Pour in the pasta and cook based on package instructions, minus 1 minute before al dente. In your saucepan, add the oil and the chopped shallot. Cook for a minute and then add the garlic and beef. Break into chunks and cook through (draining the grease if desired). Pour in the crushed tomatoes, add the spices, and simmer while the remaining dish gets created. For the bechamel, In the same (emptied) pot used for the pasta, add the butter and once melted add the flour. Stir until incorporated and slowly pour in the milk and other seasonings. Once thickened, mix in the cooked pasta. Add the pasta to a 9x13 baking dish, cover with the meat sauce and then add the shredded mozzarella. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes and enjoy!
